Scott Edwards spent his early years in western New York and grew up in suburban Chicago, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida and has spent his entire professional career in retail management for a variety of companies. He is a loyal fan of the Buffalo Bills and an admitted comic book geek. Today he lives in the Orlando area with his wife, teenage son and daughter, and a too-smart-for-his-own-good Jack Russell mix. His family is the only thing in life that he loves more than Star Wars. LOST OR FOUND: A JUSTIN CASE ADVENTURE is his first novel.
Here are some fun things about Scott:
Do you have another job other than being a writer?
I am an Assistant Store Manager at a college bookstore.
Did you ever think you would be unable to finish your first novel/novella/short story?
Finishing the first draft wasn't the hard part. During the year and a half I spent doing editing and rewrites there were several times when I thought I might never get it to the point where I'd consider it good enough to publish. My wife was very good at encouraging/nagging me to get it done.
What inspired you to write?
I have considered myself a writer since the third grade. I have always written stories for my own entertainment and the entertainment of others. It wasn't until after my father passed away in 2015 that I motivated myself to finish a novel and have it published.
What has been your most successful avenue to get reviews on Amazon?
So far reviews have been tough to come by. Mainly I have just been straightforward and asked for them from people who have read the book and told me how much they enjoyed it.

Private Detective Justin Case's 15 minutes of fame are up. The world has all but forgotten him, he is out of money, and he hasn't had a client in weeks. If not for his awesome girlfriend Sue Crose, he'd most likely be out of business and flipping burgers for a living.
But now Sue seems to have gone missing, and before Justin can even begin to search for her a government agent shows up at his door with a lost item case like none he'd ever imagined -- one that brings him face to face with people who don't exist, technologies that haven't been invented yet, and a trip he never thought he'd take. But no matter what happens, this case must be solved quickly. The fate of the Earth depends on it.
What is your next/latest project?
Currently I am working on the first draft of the sequel, Here or There: Another Justin Case Adventure.
