Here are some fun things about Mel Lee:
Do you have another job other than being a writer?
Did you ever think you would be unable to finish your first novel/novella/short story?
What inspired you to write?
I've written since I was 5 years old and typed out my first story on my mom's Quietwriter which was bigger than I was. I have written ever since. I'm not inspired. I am driven to write.

Born in Boston in 1859, Niles Gule moved to Baltimore in 2013 and is setting down roots in the Crab Cake Capital of the world, not that he would ever consider eating a crab cake. He currently works as a consultant for the Baltimore Police Department, night shift, as their resident vampire expert as well as providing night surveillance at crime scenes.
Niles has graciously allowed his adventures to be chronicled by science fiction and fantasy author Mel Lee Newmin in a free weekly blog. Stop by or sign up to receive them via email. You never know who might show up as a guest star. Maybe even you!
What is your next/latest project?
Currently working on a novel length story for Niles.
