Emily lives in sunny Southern California with her husband and daughters. She started writing in elementary school and continued writing in college, where she earned a degree in creative writing.
Emily often gets ideas for stories from the lives of her friends and family. When she's not writing, she enjoys cuddling with her two dachshunds Nestlé and Kiefer, crocheting, watching television, and enjoying the sunshine with her daughters and their flock of backyard chickens.
Here are some fun things about Emily:
Do you have another job other than being a writer?
I'm a SAHM to two little munchkins who keep me on my toes.
Did you ever think you would be unable to finish your first novel/novella/short story?
Oh yes. My first novel, Malignant, took me YEARS to write, but mostly because I kept choosing to do other things instead of writing.
What inspired you to write?
I've been writing for as long as I can remember. My first story was about a girl who died and was reincarnated as a whale. I was 7ish.
What has been your most successful avenue to get reviews on Amazon?
Private FB groups where authors interact with readers :)
